Default Mirror hole GPS mount?

Anyone tried this gps mount? Mirror hole on SG does not appear to be threaded, but would think that would be easy to do.

I have a pair of them, but use the 31002 model. On one i have a cell phone holder and use it for my I-pod. On the other I mounted my Radar detector. A very clean mounting bracket if you have the street-glide style mirrors.

I bought one, but now I'm using the mirror holes for my mirrors.
I guess I could sell you mine for $40 shipped.

I got it here:

I use a Ram mount ball underneath the mirror stem. Check out this link:

I put it underneath the mirror stem and have a ram mount for my gps.

I dunno about you but that Techmount looks a lot more secure than the ram mount I am using... no swivel ball tensioner to easily disconnect....
