Speedometer Question?

From where does the speedometer get it's signal. Front tire, rear tire, tranny ETC. Most 4 wheels are tranny now with cables. White Pearl Gold 07 ultra is my girl.

Your year model bike should have a speed sensor attached to the transmission.

Thanks, my repair manual doesn't make it clear, or I haven't found it yet.

07 ultra.
