Same here I had a rattle and while changing my heat shields I found the front one to be very loose.

Still looking and it seems to be getting louder. Maybe it will just fall off

Check your windshield screws, especially the center one. Remember just hand tight though, not too tight.

One of the most common is heat shield. I had a simular rattle and had checked everything and double cked. All heat shields were all tight, but I decided to loosen the heat shields and adjust, (push forward, turn sideways) this fixed the rattle, apparently, even with the heat shields tight they were still rattling against each other. You may try this.

Well I finally figured out my rattle. Lyndall floating rotors! I checked them by applying the brakes and it kept rattling so I assumed it wasn't them. But when you apply the brakes it just clamps the outer ring. The inter parts still moves. So even when the brakes are on they still have movment between the 2 parts. So at slow or at idle the front fork shakes and the rotors rattle. Thanks for the suggestions and hope it helps someone else.

Can't, I guess I just have to live with it. At least I know something isn't about to fall off.
