Don't know for sure if anyone has done a comparison with pic's like this or not. I installed Sylvania ST Ultra 9003 performance light. First pic is stock. (low beam on both pic's) Have not had it out at night yet, but looks like it will be a significant improvement.

Agree with you. Where'd you pick it up and how much of a PITA was it to install?

Also, did you notice you get a blue shop rag on your fender when you installed the 9003? Is that an undocumented feature with the Sylvanias?

 

I got a pair off ebay for $19.99 shipped and he's sold out. Others on ebay are selling for around $30.00. Advance auto parts wanted $49.95. Auto zone has them, but I have no idea how much.

 

do they have others that will also fit the HD? brighter etc what's the stock p#?

 

Pork Chop..find out what your stock bulb is then go on ebay or the Sylvania site for cross referencing. When I was hunting a while back, there are a bunch of sites that offer the brighter bulb. Some are even true halogen, but those require a big investment to set it all up.

 

I put the H4ST in mine and they are indeed brighter.

I wonder if they make them for the running lamps.....

 

Mine is definately brighter, I had it on low beam with the passing lights off and when we stopped, my buddy got on me for running my brights behind him. Told him to check it for himself. Not I run passing lights always when group riding so they will know I'm not running brights.
