Default Saddlebag Cooler Recommendations

I know HD has a saddlebag cooler but they want $40 for it. Anyone else find something else that works well that doesn't leak out all over your saddlebag?

Mine doesn't leak. I've also been told to put a drain petcock in the bottom of the saddlebag.

Bought one at Wally World. It wasn't much (I don't remember) I think $8. Seems to works pretty well and there is still some room in the bag too.

It's kind of a super small beach bag, that is insulated. The wife says it looks like a purse.
She's right...........................damn her.

I've tried a number of "soft" coolers but they always leak when the ice melts and I end up with water sloshing around in my saddle bag. I'm looking for a way to keep a few drinks on ice without the aforementioned mess.

Plastic bag the ice in the soft cooler. You might get some condensation but not enough to leak .I have one of the soft coolers with plastic seal in it. Cant find the name though.might be coleman not sure.I still put ice in ziplock .

I was thinking about getting one but since it's not bike specific there were no straps to attach it which was important to me. You could use one of the nets to secure it or put it in the tourpak.

For now I am going to try the bag within the bag method. I am also going to use the tip of using the ice paks vs using actual ice to keep from having so much liquid.

I've been using one of these for over a year so far, and it works great.

I use hard plastic blue ice containers that I purchased at the supermarket. Keeps canned liquids cold and my cigars as well.

i use the harley fitted insulated liner, and it works okay. best to use the blue hard packed freezer blocks made by rubbermade i think. if you have factory exhaust also it helps to use the left bag, as the stock exhaust is much less active on that side. the only thing wrong with the insulated saddlebag liner is that it only holds about a six pack or so it seems. the hard tupperware type of sealed blue blocks are not going to leak like regular ice would.
