Hey all, I am looking for some black hard bags for my Roady and I was just wondering what everying one is paying for a set? I was offered an almost new vivid black set for $650 complete. Kind of want to get an idea of a fair price. thanks.

 

I paid $650 shipped on Ebay for mine. I looked almost every day for over a year until I found a color matched set. Thankfully the guy ended the auction early for me and sold them directly to me.

I also bought a NIB set for a friend in black pearl for $750 shipped. Black should be really easy to find.

New from the factory are about $520 apiece without locks or reflector.

 

its about $1100 from chicagoHD or zanottis by the time you buy the locks and reflectors.

 

I had about 300 in mine before paint. That was 250 for the bags and about 50 for some miscellaneous hardware and locks to match my ignition.

100 for paint and I ended up with about 400 altogether.

Yeah I have seen police bags and others that I can paint but I don't like the police bags or the time to mess with paint. Just rather spend the cash and have them ready. But I don't want to spend a grand or more than 800 for used bags.

 

$650 is a decent price. It looks like they would match pretty well too.

 

I'd jump on the set for $650 if they are complete and match your color.........without a doubt

 

At that price, remember that you'll probably riding with a set of stolen bags. Be sure that the keys and locks match, or if no locks, wonder why.
