Well I thought I could make it to at least Winter before I started tearing into the '09 RG.
I made it about 6 weeks.
Frontend is disassembled.
Wheels ordered.
Fender ordered.
New bars.
Lowering front & rear.
Lots of powdercoating.

I have no idea who I was trying to kid by telling myself, "just ride the damn thing"

So that is what you did with all the money i paid you for the floor boards last week. I to want to do some upgrades to my RG but then I ask why, it is already 95 in with lots of trick stuff done and it looks great but the extended bags and fat rear fender just keep nagging me like the kids do when they want something. But now the boys are grown and working they add to the monthly income by paying a little rent so this is going into the winter bike fund for some upgrades.

Back corners of my bags are ground down.
I even put a taller shock on, 12 1/2" from the stock 12"
