Default 09 Road King steering neck grease fitting???

Dont have a service manual yet, and Im wondering if the steering neck on the 09 touring models has a grease fitting. I have a Road King and have looked on both sides of the neck and cant seem to find it, does it have one and can someone lead me in the right direction?? Thanks

Did ya look on the left (as your sitting on the bike) way up in under your nacelle area?

turn your handlebars all the way to the right to give you access to the left side of the steering head. the zerk fitting is on the left side. it maybe obsecured by a wiring harness, which, all you have to do is lift the harness up or down and out of the way.

Thanks, at least I know that there is supposed to be one, will give it another look later this afternoon. Just wanting to check to see if HD service tech checked it while it was in for 1000 mile service yesterday. I am pretty sure they didnt even pull the plugs to check them, being as I turned the wires a certian way on both plugs and when I got it home they were just the way I had them. Guess they figure since the bike is new they are alright, even though that is part of the 1000 mile service. You can tell certian areas of the bike that were looked at(due to the finger-prints) but doesnt look like the head light necell was removed to check steering head, just wondering???

Once you DO manage to locate the fitting, you won't be able to get the grease gun on it since it's a straight fitting. Of course if you take your nacelle apart you can get access to it. I bought a 45 deg zerk at Autozone and replaced the stock one.
