All the bikes that come from our local dealers here, come with the code set as 31313. First thing anyone should do is reset it to something they can remember. I could probably start half the bikes in the BC Lower Mainland because a lot of owners don't bother to change it. Once you do set your own code you should practice using it so when you need it you CAN do it, or at least carry the instructions in your wallet.

What can happen to the fob antenna ? I found mine laying loose on top of the battery tray. i just slid it back in it's place. I will say my Fob doesn't work until you are right up on the bike and then even takes awhile to see it. This happens with even a new battery in the Fob.
I don't even know where the antenna is located, the bike tipped over at a scenic overlook, parking 2 up on uneven ground, we tipped it in slow motion and picked it right back up. But after that drive to our destination, parked, left destination, then I remembered the red key light turning in while driving home which is why I thought the fob battery died
