I never had a Harley before but I have been looking at them for some time and I was trying to find a good deal on an 09 Ultra. The dealer called me last Tuesday and said he had a Limited in and I went down and bought it last Friday. I had my heart set on Monster Ovals by listening to pipes on youtube.
I have never ridden a Harly before and the dealer let me spend some time on an 09 Ultra which had a Screaming Eagle Stage 1 done. I really liked the sound of those pipes, so I had him do a Stage 1 on my Limited. My wife rides behind me on her trike and says the pipes arent as loud as my Honda Valkrie with punched out baffles. To me it sounds nice, but it still sounds like like a Harley. I'm still in breakin as I only have 300 miles on the Limited, but it sounds very good to me and I can hear the radio. Did I do the right thing? I don't know, but I like the sound today. I never heard my limited stock.

Oh, I forgot, the Screaming Eagle has an EPA stamp on them. I'm not saying other pipes do or do not, but I know these do. We do a lot of cross country and wish to avoid any noise issues.
