Default Anyone changed to mid-controls?

Planning my winter mod list and thinking about ditching the floorboards in favor of mid pegs (Dyna/Sporty style). Anybody here tried this? Fabricating a mount and shorter shift lever might not be bad but mainly looking for ideas around the rear brake...

I never thought about it. I like my floorboards so maybe that's why, but I am curious if anyone has ever done this.

I've found that feet forward position kills me on long rides, and I can't move my feet back far enough on the boards to give my back a rest...

Doesn't even sound remotely comfortable. My hips get cramped if I keep my feet flat on the boards too long.

Saw a guy going down I90 in SD on a street glide crotch rocket style. SG has passenger pegs and he was using them and leaned over the tank and tucked down behind the windshield doing about 90... as far as mid-controls, nope... got tired of them on the Dyna and went to FWDS and still get tired...

Make sure you take off heel shifter then slide your feet back so just ***** of feet on boards. On my RKC that is fairly close to being under me to suppoet weight. I wish boards were a little further back (or longer to the rear).
