By the way Hammer107, my comment wasn't directed at just you, but at the many people here who speak up with nothing to say. I do, however, find most of your posts to be either interesting, witty, or comical. No hard feelings.

Just so I can say that I gave a real answer here, I'll say this:

Keep the enclosed to save yourself the humilation of people seeing a trailor with a freakin' TOURING bike on it...

So
I need to learn to type faster, hehehe. Yes I feel better. And I just happened to speak my mind with your post at random. It's realy the threads where 11 different people say "why ask us". You know, it's like...we get the point! My rant is over, thank you very much.

I have an enclosed and would never consider putting my bike on an open trailer!

I have had the Kendon and now a 5X8 V nose Wells cargo... I am retired and only some times I trailer - but it does happen.. My last use of the Kendon - I picked up a hell of a rock chip on my fuel tank - WTF ???

got the enclosed and have used it twice - I would not go back..

I have found this for loading - I am 5'6" and I load and unload by myself with this and NOT straps... Last trailer was from Turlock to Ogdon UT. I never want to ride 80 from Reno to Salt Lake again on a bike... Booooorrrrring...lol

anyway,, check this out

If you've got to have a trailer, and I do, go with the enclosed. I've got one, and it's great. It's worth it for the few times you actually use it to have the protection, and safety. Not a difficult question for me.

Default trailer

I have an open trailer, but would love to have an enclosed one for my bike.

Reasons really are for the protection it offers, as well as if the motels are filled, you can always sleep inside it!

My open is for emergencies, I call my wife or son and have them drive to where I'm at if needed. For the guys who stated they had damge done with an open, have you ever tried covers starpped down real well? Just curious.

As my wife told me when I was buying a trailor, I was thinking about geting an open one.
Quote: You are paying 20 K for a motorcycle and you want an open trailor. Needless to say I have an enclosed one and happy with it.

I love it. The turds that say trailers are for boats or some other old wanna be tough guy statement like that are usually the biggest pu$$ies of the bunch.
