Default Trailer question....open or enclosed ???

I have a V nose trailer and a open trailer. I use them both for different tasks. I am moving where trailers are not aloud outside, so I must store them in the garage taking up space. One is going to have to go. Should I keep the enclosed one, using up a lot of space and gas when towed but offers a lot more protection for the bike or the open that takes up much less space and uses much less gas but the bike is out there with no protection from weather, road debris and prying eyes ?????

What do we care? Why would you ask us a question that only you can answer?

With a dilemma like that , my grandfather would have already assigned heads, and tails, and let the coin decide... Good luck with that one. ooooooo after thought.....I didn't look to see where you live....I'll store the enclosed on for you here...we do not have any silly rules like that...and I'll even pull it around occasionally, so the tires don't get dry rot.

I guess I'd ask myself if I wanted my bike sitting out in the elements or protected by the covered trailer...fairly simple answer if you love your bike half as much as the rest of us....just sayin.

I would go enclosed. Where are you moving that trailers are not allowed outside? Seems odd....

Sell them both and get a Kendon www.kendonusa.com That will give you room for your cycle IN your garage!!!...You can take the cycle rails off (05 and newer) and use it as a open utilility trailer...Check Craigslist.....

I have Both Open Utility and Enclosed .. The Enclosed is big enough to Haul both my Bikes and could probably add a 3rd one too ... Only thing about enclosed is make sure got a truck powerful enough to handle the weight of the Trailer, Bike, Tools etc... in otherwords best be able to haul at least 3,000 if not 6,000 lbs...
