is there a big difference between the 08 and the 09 street glide?

I think I read that the 09 handles much better....is this true?

I looked around but didn't really find anything...

 

Completely new frame, new motor mount system, wider rear tire are a couple of things that I can think of off the top of my head.

 

Here is a link to an article that explains the changes from 08 to 09. There is alot of info out on the internet about these changes. Most motorcycle mags have online reviews of the 09s.

Add in redesigned exhaust system, beautiful wide rear fender and increased payload capacity.

 

All the touring models have those changes, a complete revamp from the ground up, including rear shocks, larger diameter front wheel. All designed so they look the same!

I may buy a street glide and I was going to look at the '08 models....but think I will stick to the '09's
