I thought it would be interesting to see if anyone was as crazy as me.

Since 1996 I have had over 40 motorcycles. Agout 2/3's of them Harley's. If I had all the money I have spent on bikes buying and selling I could retire!

Anybody else this crazy?

BTW, my name, PTAG, stands for "paper tag". About 2 months ago I bought a 2009 Heritage and 3 weeks ago I bought a new 2009 Ultra Classic.

BTW, this was just since 1996 since I started riding seriously. I just need 6 more states to have all the lower 48.

I did have 6 or so bikes between 1973 and 1995.

I've had 6 or 7 bikes. I keep them a long time though, my last bike (before the 08 roadglide) was a '97. I purchased her 10 years before, when she was 2.

1971 SL125, 1973 CB175, 1973 SL175, 1974 XL350, 1975 CB500T, 1977 CB750F, cx500,1983 750 v4 sabre, hodaka 125 wombat combat, suzuki dr370, suzuki 90, 1998 honda 750 Ace, 1999 bmw r110R, 1999 R1100S, 20002 R1150R, 2002 KLR650, 2003 ST1300, 2004 flhtc. all new except for the hodaka and suzui 90.
The electraglide has over 72,000 miles, the R1100S had over 40,000 in 2 years, the St1300 20,000 in 1 year. All the others had plenty of miles too I just can not remember how many LOL. The only one I really never lost money on was the KLR650. Sold it for 300 less than I paid for it after 2 years.
