Default ness big sucker

Anyone else have any issues with the ness big sucker banjo bolts coming loose on them? I put the ness on about 600 miles ago and used blue locktite. Most of my riding is to work and back which is all highway and about 135 per day. I got home today and noticed there was oil splatter on the right side hard bag and the side cover. After looking closer to find the culprit, I noticed that the banjo bolts looked like there was a gap between the bolt heads and the backing plate. I pulled the air cleaner cover and sure enough, the banjo bolts were very loose. I took the first one out and looked inside the hole the bolts go into and you could see pieces of the hardened thread locker. I used a q-tip to clean things up in there before reapplying thread locker and reinserting the bolts. Would the heat from the motor cause the loctite to fail? Anyone else have this happen to them? I have seen threads where people discuss oil blow by but curious if they have checked the tightness of the banjo bolts. Should I be using a different color loctite specifically for engine heat applications?

I have a 2005 RK and I was riding and noticed a abnormal sound. I felt the air cleaner and by pushing in, the sound went away. After pulling over and removing the cover, I found both bolts very loose. I cranked them down very tight (forget the torq wrench) and no more problem.

I kind of thought the same thing about the torque wrench. I pulled the air cleaner, reapplied the blue loctite and locked them down tight. Let's see what happens. The sound you heard, was it a high pitched whine?
