I didn't mean to use rear breaking in cornering as routine practise, but as instant emergency tactic..Indian dealer told me that with ABS we can now routinely use rear braking in hard curves and cornering and relearn it for techniques and nut worry bout it anymore

That dealer is an idiot. You need to take a rider's course. MSF or the Harley one...

No worries. I just hate misinformation when it can hurt someone...ABS is great in a straight line. It works in corners too but is not as effective because abs doesn't prevent brake locks. It just senses when it happens, releases and reapplys. In a corner, you could go face down in that instance
