Just asked my wife if she wanted a mirror to see what is behind us and she busted out laughing.

OK, here is a serious reply. If you have a batwing fairing bike, install the street glide style fairing mounted mirrors and leave your regular mirrors on. Aim two for you, and two for her.

It sounds strange to me, but to each his own.

IMO The fairing mounted mirrors are almost useless.
Tell her she can turn her head, or even her whole upper body. Rear view cameras and monitors are available, usually found on sport bikes but no reason you couldn't install one.
