New Street Glide, right speaker not working!
Hi, does anyone have any ideas? My right speaker stopped working on my new SG with only 200 miles. :-( I'm pretty sure it was working initially, but now it's dead. Back to the dealer I guess, or is there something easy that I should check? The left speaker seems fine. Thanks!

try resetting your radio to factory defaults:
● Turn the ignition ON with the radio OFF
● Push and hold softkeys 1 and 3 and OK for 2 seconds
● Push the arrow up 2 times
● Push softkey 2
● Turn off ignition for 20+ seconds
● Turn ignition on and verify all defaults have reset
The following are reset to the factory ROM defaults:
● Radio presets.
● volume levels, bass, treble, AVC, fader and VOX.
● Display contrast.
● External amplifier present is reset to no amplifier (if an
external amplifier is present, it will take two LONG ignition
cycles before the radio is set up to enable the external
amplifier).
I have lost output from a speaker once and this cured it for me. YMMV.

My bike is in the shop right now so I can't physically verify the procedure, but it was copied and pasted straight out of the electrical manual of my 07 Ultra. It has worked for me a couple of times. Should reset everything back to default, unless there are some other problems possibly with the radio?

That is what I would check as well. Wires come loose all the time and since it's pretty easy to take the 7 nuts off and check, that would be the first thing I would check. You can also check other connections at the same time to make sure everything is tight. If that's not the case and the reset didn't do anything, take it back to the shop.

Hopefully, that's my problem, that it just disconnected. I'd like to check it myself, but I'm not sure what screws or grommets I need to remove, or even how to remove those grommets. Do you just pull them out with some needle nose pliers? Can the service manual be found on eBay on a cd for cheap or does anyone know of free download anywhere? Thanks, I really appreciate all the responses!
