There are poser seats, and there are rider seats. The Russell's are for sure rider seats. I've had them on my previous BMW's, and they are all day comfortable. I'll bet more Iron Butt Rally riders are on RDL's then any other seat. Hardly ever see a Russell seat on a scoot being unloaded from a trailer...

I've been contemplating one of their seats for myself and since they are only about a 3 hour drive from my house I am probably going to go with the same day drive in service charge and have the seat made right then and there.

Glad to hear people like them.

I have had my bike since March and have put almost 10k miles on it plus about 3k more on the fatbob. If I had more freetime then I would be stacking on more miles. On my trip to Sturgis this year I knew that one of these seats was in my future. I want something I can do a 6-700 mile day on and get off without any pain or discomfort. The sundowner would probably have worked with a MCC seat mod. but I just wanted to try one of the RDL saddles. I don't think it looks bad and actually like the way it looks. I'm all about being different and this seat isn't something you'll see very often at all.

Great looking seat.
Ive seen alot of custom seats. And I dont think any of them measures up quality wise,to a RDL.
Once you get it broken in.
Its without a dought, the best, for long distance all day comfort.

Just got back from Durango last week, the last day was from Albuquerque to San Antonio. 730 miles or so, one thing for sure is I need a different seat than the stock seat. I really hope you follow up after you put some miles on it, I am on the verge of sprining for the Russell right now, so I am really interested in what your impression is.
