Connector, were the pipes and heat shields bought black or did you have them painted? And if they are painted,are pipes painted black along with the heat shields or just the shields?

 

The pipes were ceramic coated also the heat sheild all done by a local company and 6k later they still look like the day i put them on. The slip on came from Rhinehart that way.

 

I just got a bassani road rage used that is ceramic coated black. Seller said it should be touched up. How is the best way I should approach this? I would like to DIY it. or where is the cheapest place to ceramic coat it again? thanks.

 

I had mine ceramic coated by Jet-Hot. If I were to do it over again, I would have bought them black from the manufacturer. The ceramic coating is not exactly show quality. There are imperfections. It looks great from a distance, and most people wouldn't notice the imperfections...but I do.

 

How expensive is jet-hot? How long does it take?
