Default Need Engine

Dad has a 92 FLHS and we need an engine. We looked at all the options for a crate motor and did not here anything good about the Ultimas and the S&S are just too expensive. He does not want a new bike, just to get his running. We have decided to do the HD reman program. I am amazed at the attitudes of some dealerships about working on Evo bikes. Not everyone has a twin cam nor wants one. I think the motor company should look into these dealerships that don't want to work on anything that is not brand new. If these dealerships don't have trained techs to work on these bikes, then they should invest in training to better service their customers.

You would think they would be doing everything they can in this economy. Someone said their dealer is working on metrics now too.

Some dealerships have competent mechanics, but unfortunately most have "Parts changers". Business practices of the MOCO have driven alot of the good wrenches to either open their own shops, or switch professions altogether for fear of starvation...................what a shame.
