Default Please Help.2007 E glide classic with problems.

I need help with an Electrical problem. I have a 2007 elec glide classic and the warranty just ended. This is what it’s doing. I lost control over the stereo , both on the handlebar controls and the faceplate, and when driving down the road my Speedo and tach will drop to zero and I get a ck eng light, battery light and a security light and I also get a fault code in the Speedo (BUSS Er). This all last for about 30 seconds and the goes back to normal except for the radio controls will not work most of the time. The bike is running great except for the indications listed. As of now it is an intermittent problem.

Start by pulling the speed sensor out of the top of the tranny and cleaning it off.

The radio sounds like a seperate issue. These HK radios are pretty unreliable. If you're gonna troubleshoot it yourself you might get the shop manual if you don't already have one. It's got wiring diagrams in it.It might be a loose common ground or maybe the speed sensor.
