Yes, they now come standard on the 2012 CVO Ultra. I missed them and the iPod by 1 year.

I missed them by 2 years. Have them though on mine and decent sound. I am in need of an amp though to drive them. The previous post about clear until 60% then distortion was right on.

Default Boom Speakers

I installed them on my '12 FLHTK w/amp. World of difference in sound. I have owned several bikes over the years with Hog Tunes, J&M also. Nothing compares to the Boom. 70+ mph and still loud and clear.

Difficulty? None at all. All plug and play. No splicing required. I'm slow, took me about 3-4 hours.

I've got them on my 2009 FLHTCU ( along with the Bass Port Kit ) and noticed a definite improvement over the stock speakers. It took about an hour and a half to install, most of the time was spent on doing the Bass Port installation. I am happy with the outcome.

I am curious about the bass ports and how they sound. Do you hear a lot of difference in the bass output?

On a side note I lined my speaker pods, inner and outer fairing with Dynamat and it made a big difference in the sound quality. The enclosures are much more dense now.
