Default To the guys with 10" paul yaffe bars

When you bought your 10" monkey bagger bars from paul yaffe did you need the super sport kit he sells or was the stock cable ok? I had 12" on order until I seen a few pics of 10" so I changed it and the person I'm getting the bars from emailed me said paul said that the super sport kit is needed with 10" I asked paul at the easy rider show he said stock would work.

Mine are on order, but they told me I didn't need the kit.

We deal with Paul directly and for the 10" the super size kit is not needed.

Okay? Well I was told originally you don't need the kit for 10", but maybe he is hurting for business, who knows.

Yes they will fit a Road King. Let me talk to Paul again and get the low down on whether you need the kit of not with the 10", but I remember several people here using the 10" bars with stock cables.

Oaky, I got the skinny on what bars need the super size kit and what bars don't. For the OEM Monkey bars you need the supersize kit. On the Monkey bagger bars you can use stock cables. From Paul himself.

I have the OEM Monkee bars 10" and did not need to change cables. Wiring had to be extended slightly though.
