It has actually been a warm Winter here in Maine, 20s regularily in January. It is supposed to get up to 35 next week, may stay in the 30s for a while. No snow, just ice - boring. I wish I could take all that snow from you folks and bring it here. Snow is white gold in Maine ( skiing, snowmobiling, snowshoeing, $$$ etc ) we like it and are use to it. Sorry for you folks. Drive slow and be safe.

I hear ya, but soon it will all be over and spring will come and all will be right in the world cuz we will be riding.... If we all lived in SoCal we wouldn't no the difference and that first spring ride wouldn't be any fun at all.

A friend sent me this....

It's winter in Kansas and the gentle breezes blow. Seventy miles per hour at 35 below. Oh, how I love Kansas. The snow up to your rear, you take a breath of winter and your nose gets frozen dear. Yes, the weather here is wonderful, so I guess I'll hang around. I could never leave Kansas, I'm froze to the ground.

I HATE winter

By the time spring gets here I'm not gonna have a back left. Took me 20 minutes to get out of the house and shovel a small patch on the back porch so the dogs could go out. And this storm is only have over.
