I don't lose any air with my ('04) pump, and the shocks don't lose any air either.

I don't lose any air at all with mine. I screwed mine on and off 8 times and still do not lose a pound of air.

purchased a shock x ( ravx.com) "precision shock pump" at my local bicycle shop... high quality; braided steel hose; non-leak valve head; small size...works great...and, a great value at $30.00! i use it on my solo air seat and shocks ('09 flhtp)

I agree with most of the posts here; your pump is not working, get a new one. I have an 09 ULtra and my pump doesn't lose much if any air. I love that thing.

Yeah, as others have said you might have a defective pump. I don't loose more than a pound if any.

That's not what they mean by zero air loss-they mean you pump it up and leave it attached for a half hour to see if your shocks have a leak
