SG Fascia & Tail Light on my Roadie w Pics
Bought these parts a while ago, finally got warm enough in the garage to install them. Rear fender ground effects and run/brake light, colormatched from MOCO. Took less than 2 weeks to get here, color is spot on! Bought it at a 50% off sale at local dealer recently, total cost under a hundred bucks! I used the 3M double sided tape to install. Pretty solid and no holes in the fender. Install took all of 15 minutes, wiring is plug and play to tour pak harness under left side cover. Got a pigtail made so I can still plug in my detachable tour pak when needed.

I know it's kind of passe, but I like that antenna Carl. I have a Miss Piggy in Red White and Blue holding the American Flag on the end of it...

I got to hand it to you, DAWG. I have been dealing with the same guy at local dealer for some years. He is very good and keeps up with stuff but I trumped him with your part number for this piece. He swore it wasn't available. Well lookie here, maw, there it is!
Thanks man!

I've got the same piece at the painter for mine. There is the plug in for it in the tail light housing. Free's up your touring pack plug incase you want to do that later. Just remove the tail light len's and it's the open 3 prong female spot in the upper left hand corner. It's on page 8-34 in my service manual.
A while back I was in a discussion about the LED light. We were talking about it also working as a brake light as well. Well, I took a closer look at mine and it seems that the dealer sold me the old style that is only a running light. The plug head is different so I couldn't plug it into the proper plug behind the tail light (like the SG's do) until I bought the right plug and switched it. Cost of the right plug was just over $2.

I love the look. I was hesitant due to needing to drill holes, but if the 3M tape holds, I may go for it.
BigDaddy: Do you have the part #s handy? I looked in the 2009 parts book and I might be missing them. Any issues if I have a non-LED running/brake light and these are LEDS? Did the black hole plugs come with the kits as I have the same rear antenna mount as you. Thanks for your advice.

68358-07A Tri Bar Run/Brake Light $97.96
2995 Torq Screws (2) $2.00
59749-06 Fender Plugs (2) $4.00
Thats all I bought. No issues at all, these are made to work with the OEM light which is NOT LED
There is a bracket under the back of the rear fender where the saddlebag supports come together 7/16 nut, loosen it up, slide the fascia in place,\. I put the 3M tape on the side supports first and trimmed it with a razor, tighten the nut and pull the backing off the tape and press and hold for a minute. After a hair dryer and pressing I gave it a good tug with both hands and it did not budge.
