Default Stripped Caliper bolts heads

Doing brake pad inspection on my ’08 Ultra
The 12 point 10mm bolts on the left side came off fine, the two on the right side stripped the heads, either they were over torque or they used red locktite!
Now WTF do I do?
Looking at drilling out the bolt heads, pull the front wheel, at that point I should be able to pull the caliper off to the inside. I than can get a channel lock on the stub and maybe turn it out. If it doesn’t want to come use some heat.

What do you think? Need ideas here.

THANKS

Tape things up good so nothing gets scratched, drill a hole in the middle of each bolt head and then use an EZ-out (reverse screw bit) which will turn the screw out as you screw it in.

I inspect my pads by looking up from the bottom and checking the wear line indicators. If there are no lines left, the pads are at the the .4mm limit and need replacing. I don't pull the calipers until I need to.

Or get two throw away (cheap) 12 point sockets and jb weld them to the bolts and reinstall new bolts.

Had same problem. Was going to drill out but thought I would try brute force and ignorance 1st. Got an allen head socket that was very close but slightly oversize to the star head (dont know the size or even if it was metric) and drove it in with a hammer. Then applying lots of compression load turned it and out it came. sort of like an easy out. Disclaimer - do at your own risk.

Remember that the brake fluid is flammable, be careful using heat

Go to a decent size Sears or Kmart in your area. Craftsman has several types of bolt removers for stripped heads. You don't have to do any drilling. They work kinda like an easy out but grip and cut into the outside of the bolt head. Pretty slick, I have some, they work slick.

I think he meant to JB Weld the sockets just to remove the strippped ones, then put new bolts in their place...
