Default lookin' for a rumble......

I just got my first bagger, 2010 SG. I quickly got rid of MoCo's "Catified" 2-into-1.....switched out for V&H Dresser Duals with their new Twin Slash Oval Slip-Ons #16767(not monster ovals) the sound is good, but a little more raspy kinda mid range tone and maybe a hair louder at cruising speed (65-75 mph)then i was looking for. Any suggestions for different slip-ons. Or maybe an easier way (i.e. CHEAPER) to modify the V&H slip-ons i got, to get that low rumble i'm looking for?
Thanks guys..keep up the good work..this site is awesome!

If you want a deep rumble, thats not obnoxiously loud while cruising, you want monster ovals.

(Ive had both standard Ovals and Monster Ovals)

I like the rineharts as well. All around great sound. I think they even have sound clips on their site.

I LOVE the V&H Basic Slip On's I put on my E-Glide Standard. Get LOTs of compliments on their sound. Deep, throaty growl.

You want rumble? Go with Rinehart's. Take sound clips with a grain of salt. Its really hard to hear the true sound through your computer.
