I've been looking at the 575s my self DbbleD. I have tried to figure out if the are dimpled for external wiring or if you have to go internal. Have you figured this out?

Default wiring

I'm considering the 577s on a Street Glide and wonder what you guys had to do with cables (throttle, radio controls, clutch, brake, etc.).

Default 575 bars

I run the 575's on my 08 SG. Much better than the stock bars for sure. I needed a +4 on the clutch cable. The +4 almost seems like too much but if you run it like stock it works out fine. I like being able to run the wires inside the bars too. Really cleaned it all up. 1 1/4 diameter makes them look good too. I can sit further back in my C&C seat and not hang on the bars. I have them rotated back so I have virtually a full mirror view. I'm 5'7 and they really work for me.

Overdoo I am in process of installing them on my '09 FLHX. Do you find them much wider than stock bars? Thanks.

I've got the 575s. They're nearly perfect. 577s would have put my hands above the fairing, which would be no good for winter or rainy riding. They are designed for internal wiring only. I used a +4 clutch cable, which I'm beginning to think is too long. There's way too much slack in it, and I found that it interferes with closing the vents in the lowers. +2 on the brake lines was perfect.

what he said except for the brake line comment. I used +2" black pearl lines from Magnum Shielding. Great product.

577s on a my Ultra, love them. Low speed U turns take a little getting used to but no big deal. If doing your own wiring, make sure you solder the wire extensions and not just plug the extension harness in and heat shrink. Pain in the butt when a connection in the bar come loose and you have to rewire...

How many hours to install. I am told 8. Almost 1400.00 for new bars.
