Default Help needed,

Long time lurker, first post. I need help identifying cams I purchased on ebay. they were advertised as Screaming Eagle 255 cam kit NIB.

The sticker on the box reads 25503-10 cam kit, two dealers that I talked to said they are stock cams not Screaming Eagle 255's. There are #s stamped on each came 25617-06 and 25589-06 no other markings except mfg. codes.

any help would be appreciated.

thanks, Bob

most cams have what they are stamped on the end. I know that the 255's have the stamp that says SE 255. I seen a set at the dealer earlier today on display. You may want to open the box. Found this in the SE catalog. Hope this helps.

SE-254E 25503-10
.535"/.536" 224˚/234˚ Intake: 1˚ BTDC/43˚ ABDC 0.094"/.102"

Exhaust: 50˚ BBDC/4˚ ATDC

The Harley installation manual(pdf file) for the 103 big bore kit with the 255 cams shows the cam part numbers as 25417-07 (front cam) and 25427-07 (rear cam). Hope this helps.

Mine have CVO255 stamped on them.

The sticker on the box they came in reads.

25638-07
SE 255 CAM KIT

Sorry man, that sucks, file the claim with ebay, they should help.

How about telling us who it was so nobody else gets screwed.

The seller has admitted his mistake so I'll wait and see if he disputes the claim.
