Default Just installed

Well after much research and debate, I installed a SE Heavy Breather, PCV, Vance and Hines Big Radius 2-2 pipes and a Cee Bailey's 14" SE windshield on my 2010 RGC after the 1K service. All I have to say is these pipes are LOUD!... Took me 4 hours to install everything and do a once over. Took it for a short ride and I'm almost expecting a noise ticket within a week. Will sure be looking into quite baffles. Slight pop on decel but I will look into that too. Thank you all for your inputs over various threads. Pictures soon to follow.

Seriously, this is the exact same setup I am contemplating putting on my 07 Street Glide! Get some pics posted and a lengthy review on the parts brother. Seriously interested in your review...

I couldn't imaging riding 200-300 miles in a day with pipes that are that loud. I agree that they look sweet but doesn't that get old...?

My attempt at a review:

-SE Heavy Breather- The finish on this thing is everything I expected. Install was straight forward and easy no tank removal necessary if you have an L-shaped allen head wrench. Double sided 3M tape for the chrome back piece attachment to the filter element was a little questionable but I cleaned it with alcohol wipes and made sure it was free of any oils or dirt. I used Loc-tite on everything!
-V&H Bug Radius 2-2 Pipes- Install went easy as well. Heat shields took some work and so did rethreading the forward most head pipe nut. Passenger foot peg relocation bracket was included. The mate between heat shields was spot on, slight adjustment to get it right.
-PCV- Install took some time to get the connector tucked between the battery and tank. Definitely plug and play. Make sure to update the software and firmware.

The lines are everything with these pipes. The sound is louder than I expected but exactly what I was looking for. I wanted to be different than the rest of the baggers you see with dual exhaust or slip-ons. As for performance there is a noticeable gain but not enough to brag about. I wanted looks and sound above performance and that’s what I got. Throttle response is "crisper". Cruising speeds aren't too bad. I wear a half ehlmet with no ear plugs and can hear my stereo fine. I do have a Cee Baily's 14" windshield that helps with that though. Daily commute to work is 25 miles each way with 20 being freeway. I don't think I would be able to handle these pipes without baffles. I'll report again after a lengthy ride this coming weekend (150-200 miles). Pics will be up tomorrow.

Default Bump

Just uploaded pics for all to see the fruits of my labor. Enjoy. Received a new PCV Map from Keith at Fulemoto but no time to test it. Map has been uploaded to the PCV. Looking at it, it appears to be richer. I'll be testing it tomorrow, more to follow then.

Have you noticed any performance gains on it?
