The mystery of my leaking transmission oil solved........................nuff said!
Well I had my scoot up on the lift installing my chrome transmission and primary cover. I installed the tranny side cover reusing the "new" gasket I just out on two weeks ago when installing my clutch cable. I then poured in some Mobil 1 synthetic gear oil at $16 a quart.
With that finished I moved over to the other side to install the primary cover. I had to put the drip pan up on a box so it would sit level. After I got that done I removed the box and saw all my expensive mobile 1 on the floor....WTF the following pic explains it all!
Flame suit on!

Note the bottom edge of the gasket. It must have caught one of the shafts and pulled up. The whole bottom edge of the gasket was up inside the cover allowing all the oil to pour out. You can see the small circular notches cut into the gasket by the screws catching the bottom of the gasket and not going thru the holes!
