I really like the sound system set up (speakers in the speedo/tach holes).
Enjoy!

+1 Jon. We need to get together for a ride. I do not have the date yet, but I'm making plans for me and my 14 year old to take off for a day ride sometime late Spring or early Summer. I was thinking of a ride around the Hood Canal, or maybe even all away around the Olympic Peninsula. Anyway, maybe we can all get together and plan something. By the way your new Electra King looks awesome!

JohnnyD,

Looks Great....Have you thought of putting an odometer reset switch in the original hole for one...You can wire it to a garage door opener and have that also....Hope I didn't give you another project.

This Forum does rock for help and ideas on how to save and SPEND your money.

Well, I started it in early Dec. and took my time in the rainy months, also gave me more time to find great deals. If I had all the parts laying in front of me, it would have been fairly quick. Of course I learned a lot along the way.

The ride up around the canal and over around Lake Quinalt, Forks etc, is a nice ride. Always seems to rain in Forks, even in the summer. Keep in touch, we'll make it happen.

You're one of the reasons I did it without it costing me an arm and a leg. Thanks Carl!

That's exactly what I'm going to do. I need to research how to wire it up, if possible, so I don't have to change batteries in the remote. Otherwise, it's no biggie to pop the outer fairing off to replace the battery.
