I am very interested in this as well, I will have to see if it works with my Garmin Nuvu 265. Thanks for taking the time to post up the info. Don

I am 100% sure the 550 and 450 will work. I've seen pictures of the 550 on this same mount

Yes, there is a seperate mount that does not use the dash pad for either the 550 or 660;

According to the pics yes; I was wondering the same thing.

7686 Locknuts (2)
92346-10 Mount (accepts garmin cradle)
92466-10 Retainer (goes inside fairing for support)
57885-10 Pad (dashpad specific to cradle mount, already has holes)

This will make for a much cleaner look and get the ugly mount arms off your handlebars.
I am taking lots of pictures to add to this and should be done with the mounting tomorrow afternoon and I will finish this thread after that.

Was looking through the thread and after looking up the part numbers, does this parts list include the Chrome Trim for the Dashpad, or did you use the trim from your previous one? If you did reuse that portion, do you have that part# also for those of us that don't have a dashpad yet?

Thanks for the Great write-up and pics..

The part # he gave was for the dash pad which had the pre-formed holes for mounting the zumo. I already have the original dash pad without the pre-formed holes, I'm going to modify mine to fit the zumo.

Here's the part # again.

With pre-formed holes: 57885-10

Without: 58262-05

You're welcome, I used the chrome trim from my dash pad, just 2 bolts hold it to the dash pad. Here is the HD part number for that;

57842-06 Trim, dash pad

Chicago Spike when you ordered the new dash pad did it come with new hardware? Currently I don't have a dash pad so for those of us that want to do this will we need more hardware?

No, as usual you need to buy the screws/bolts seperately. Here are the part numbers from my book;
3652 Screw, 2 needed
6837M Washer, 2 needed
Above 2 hold dash pad to fairing

4569 Screw, 2 needed hold chrome trim to dash pad
