Any experience with landing gear on Ultra

I saw an old veteran that was part of the D-Day invasion he must have been in his 80's riding a Goldwing using a landing gear system. Worked real well for him. Once it was up to speed he could throw that thing around better then a lot of the younger riders. Not sure what version he used. I did find this online:

The indy I deal with for parts installs them on bikes. I think he said they are about $3k. The system engages when you slow to a certain speed and disengages I think he said at around 9 or 10 mph. Don't quote me on those specifics. I saw him testing one on the lot for a customer and it looked like it does the job. The pitch was it helps keeping the bike up without putting your feet down, and in your case the Mrs. would not have to use all of her strength to hold it up at a light. It looked pretty solid and once the gear was up it is under the bags so it did not look obtrusive. Good luck it might be very helpful for the Mrs.
