Default Where to buy oil cooler - best price?

With the warm weather here, I thought it would be a good idea to put a oil cooler on my recently acquired RG. I've had good luck with the HD coolers on the other bikes so I thought I'd go with a HD 26082-05B --- any thoughts on where I can get the best price ? I hate paying HD retail $$'s and tax etc locally. thx

I got mine through Zanotti's they give a ~20% discount and are resonable on shipping.

If you are local to us I an most likely beat Zanotti, but with the added shipping it usually comes out about the same. have you though about the Jagg oil cooler setup? I personally like the Jagg setup better. Pm or email me for more info and pricing.

I can recommend Lakeshore Harley-Davidson if you want OEM. Good prices, packing, and my last order had free shipping.

Another vote for the Jagg.

Care to elaborate? I am swamped here right now and don't have time to explain all the details as I have meetings back to back to back today.

If you buy an oil temp gauge it will come clear there is no need to install a cooler.

I took my oil temp gauge out and there is still no need, but if someone wants one I am more than willing to supply them. Donny Peterson did a writeup in AI a few months back about oil coolers and his findings were that they could do more damage than good.

Do you have a link for that write-up?

I don't recall a Peterson write up demeaning oil coolers. I could see an issue with a line breaking or a rock trashing the cooler but can't imagine any other negative.
My cooler indicates a fairly significant drop in oil temps.
