Question Kuryakyn Tour Pack relocator

has anyone used the Tour Pack relocator.. I want to know does it force the weight of passenger to rear thus causing front end float??? will it affect the steering??

Just wondering before I drop $200 bucks
thanks

I use the George Anderson setup, saw too many broken Kuryakyns, but that is another discussion. Honestly, I noticed no difference in handling or what you call front end float. You would have to shift the weight much more dramatically to get the front end to lighten up.

No riding difference, but it broke after about a year. Wouldn't buy another one.

Was that the adjustable one or a fixed relocator?

I've been thinking about a tour pack relocator ever since seeing the Kuraykin one on "Two Wheel Thunder".

My question is - doesn't moving the tour pack back leave a gap between the end of the seat and the backrest?

It seems to me, that if I shifted the tour pack even an inch backwards, the passenger would be sitting on the back edge of the seat, and that would not be comfortable...

I'd love to see a picture taken from above the seat showing the resultant gap from anyone who has installed one of the relocators mentioned above...

I've got the Anderson one also, really quality product. I'd go that route. as far as showing a bit of fender behind the seat, it does, it doesn't cause my wife to sit beyond the back of the seat plus she LOVES the extra room and I can use my backrest.
