Default street glide windshield, how tall is yours?

i have a 7 inch on my 09 sg and im only 5/4 but i still get hit with a bit more air than i like. its a great improvement over the little 4 inch job that the bike came with but id like to try a little taller than my 7 inch but not sure if one taller than i have will look right. any photos would be much help.

I have the clockworks on my 08 Street Glide. Helps to stop the sunglasses from shaking while doing over 70.

I've got the 10" from Fastaire that I use for long rides. In town, I still use the stock. W/ the 10, I have no issues with wind. It doesn't look as cool as stock, but definitely makes a difference. I'm 6'3".

I started with the HD EG std height 12" clear shield on mine. Just upgraded to the National Cycle VStream 14" clear shield. I am 5'10." Both shields deflects the airflow over top the helmet by about two inches and that is perfect for me. When mounted, the top of both shields are about the same distance from the fairing edge.

got the 4 inch stock and an 8 inch from fast aire, its a big "improvement" over the stock as far as buffeting...Im 5'9 and the wind just touches the top of my head on the hwy..the 8 is the lowest I'd go for any real touring, I think the 10 inch clear would be perfect for me.

If you want a low windshield but don't like a lot of wind in your face, you should look in to a recurve. The shield in my sig pic is a 8" clearview recurve. I'm a fraction under 6', and I can stick my hand up and feel the windstream just over the top of my helmet.

Went with a 6.5" KW on mine and at 6'0" it works great.

I'm 6'1" & have a 8" standard windstream on my '10 SG. To me its perfect. My glasses don't shake & can hear the radio really well.
