Default 16" ape hanger install

A buddy has a 2010 FLHRC and nees 16"apes cause he is 6'3". We are having problems finding the extended front brake lines. Do you have to replace the 3 lines or just the line from the master cylinder? Also, I heard you want to replace the bar bushings with poly ones? Any help is appreciated. Thanks.

I did from the master cylinder to the calipers on mine. I used Magnum Sterling Chromite II lines. they make a double line piece for the bottom end. Then you buy the top line in whatever length you want. I kept the stock bushings.

You have to replace them all. Reason is the line from the master cylinder to the spliter for the duals is a different fitting. You will need to get all 3 lines and a new spliter. Drag Specialties makes all the stuff for a lot less then HD.

You really do want to replace the stock riser bushings with poly (heavy duty).

+1 on the Magnum Sterling Chromlite II. Used them on my 09 Street Glide when I put 16" cyclesmith apes on. You need the lower dual disk kit and I need a 35" upper.

If you have ABS you should only have to run a new upper brake line.
