After having my inner primary bearing changed because the race was ate up, the primary is louder than before, which was just a whine after a long ride. Now the primary makes more noise than I ever recall it making. So much so that I can hear it over stereo. Any thoughts?

I changed my inner primary bearing recently. I also installed a new chain adjuster at the same time. My primary is quieter than the day I bought the bike.
I would suggest that you take it back to whoever did the job. They should check the adjuster and chain tension.
Mine went out on a coast to coast and was changed at Souix Falls H.D. That was 20,000 miles ago and no noise at all. take it back to whoever did the work.
