Question Kickstand problem

I have a 09 Ultra and it leans over to far on the kickstand. Is there a fix for this? I bought the bike new and it always been this way, seems to lean over farther then other 09s

Thanks for any suggestions.

Ask your dealer to lookup Service Bulletin M-1243.
This is the Jiffy stand bracket update.
I had mine done , works really slick.

This concerns the first few '09 made (with the new frame).
Mine leans over too far also but I supposedly have the new and improved braket. So there is no fix for mine.

This is a very old issue. First problem associated with the 09's in Oct of 09. Go to your dealer and they'll replace it with a more upright jiffy stand at no cost. Based on the service bulletin.

I know, it's terrible ain't it? I guess we should all ride them to the Grand Canyon and push them all into one place creating a huge metal sculpture. That will teach that MOCO not to make any errors. Let me know when you guys push yours in, I would like mine to be near the top.

I never gave it much thought but after reading this post I went in the garage and realized mine leans pretty far! Especially after raising the rear 1" with the Ohlins suspension.

Stopped by the local dealer and they say they didnt know anything about the Service Bulliten. Showed them the copy I found on here and they ordered the part.

Going back in 10 days to have it installed.

This site is Great for stuff like this!
