07 battery dying? How do you maintain it? Kinda premature IMO for a battery to die. I would stick with the HD 66010-97C or Deka ETX30L

2-3 years is average on the battery even if you take care of it, and have a battery tender hooked up if you don't ride for several weeks or longer. My 02 Ultra battery lasted less than 2 years. My 05 Ultra lasted almost three years. My 08 SE3 is starting to loose it's charge and it's almost 3 years old.

The stock HD battery in my opinion is the best choice. Last the longest. It fits perfectly, and HD will warranty it if there are issues during the warranty period.

Interesting - my Dyna's battery was stiil going strong at 4.5 years and I replaced it out of paranoia before a long trip. My Ultra's battery is 3 years old and doing fine. I wonder what is happening with the folks who's batteries are only lasting a couple of years. I do ride year round though and there is rarely a week that goes by I don't ride. Maybe that's it.

I just replaced my battery about three weeks ago (original from 2006) and being in NE Ohio I can only ride 7-8 months out of the year so I doubt that is it.

O/P I replaced mine with the Deka ETX30L because they make the OEM battery and it was $60 cheaper.
