$399???

That is just too pricey for me. My solution was a 15ft right angle audio cable, put the ipod in the tour pak, run the cable back to it. Mount a cheap 12 volt receptacle in the tour pak to charge the ipod. Then control the ipod on the road via an iJet remote. All for about $60.

Dude, has anyone told you that you look just like Ari on "Entourage?"

What about the millions of "old bikes" like mine.

Not a fan. I have 2 coiled cables - 1 for the charger and one for the headphone/aux jack. I have velco on the back of the iPod and on the dash. Easy access and about $20!

Nice looking piece, but I'm with the other guys: $399 is WAY to rich for an Ipod holder

I bought this one on Fleabay and it's a good looking unit that works beautifully:

Good idea Greyboat! I wonder if there would be any heat issues in the tourpak if you sub'ed an Iphone instead of an Ipod? BTW, I sailed with Bainbridge several times in the early 80's when I was an aircrewman on USS America CV66 during two IO cruises. Delivered mail to you guys a few times from out H3. :-)
