Default WOW! Scratch-X, HD glaze, S100 Carnuba

I was just out this morning washing yesterdays funk off the bike. 400 miles, lots of summer bugs, a gas spill on the tank, rained on 3 times....you get the picture. The bike was a mess. After washing, I found a fair amount of "Spider web" scratches. I started with the Scratch-x. This got the scratches pretty much gone. I had picked up the HD glaze, 20% off at Fosters HD just as an experiment. After the scratch-x, I hit it with the HD glaze. This was the crucial step I had been missing before! The paint started to look liquid. The black got even blacker. I am use to seeing this when I wax with the S100 carnuba, but this glaze is the ****. When I started rubbing off my last coat of carnuba, I could hardly believe my eyes. My bike looked BETTER than new. Someone on this forum recommended the HD glaze some time back. Not sure who it was, but thank you, it was the missing link.

I've Been using HD glaze from day one. Similar process as you. I start with scratch-X, use the HD polish to fine polish, then add the HD glaze for a final protective coat. The HD polish is tricky as it starts out as a medium abrasive and breaks down to a fine polish as you rub, which kind of takes a three step process down to a one step polish.
Bike looks sharp! Dark colors are the hardest to detail, but look better than anything else when done.

If you like the HD glaze you will love 3-M brand Imperial Hand Glaze; part #051131. Not cheap, but easier to use (you do not need a "damp" cloth) and superior results. You won't be disappointed if you try this produt when it's time to replace your HD product.

And if you like the 3M brand you will go nutz for the Zanio brand line
Especially the new products that just came out:
Z-5 Pro Polish
and
Z-8 Grand Finale Spray seal

I was actually using the 3M products before I tried this. The inperial hand glaze does work well, just seems to take too long with less results.

Wife bought me a HD cleaning kit a bottle of the glaze and I have been using it and I agree it seems to work quite well.
