That's not exactly a new revelation. Folk are well aware of that.

it gets pointed out as a
proof of why car tires can't work by may Sayers. None the less, empirical evidence shows they do work.

This can cause spot overheating of the tire in the case of lengthy twisties. To each their own, but tires are purpose-built. There is science behind that.
On a lot of cars today the rear tires stay flat to the road, but the front tires camber in and out in the turns, thus some degree of "Roll" appears to have been anticipated by the tire manufacturers.

Not to mention that the side walls of car tires are designed for the horizontal push a 4000lb vehicle exerts on them while making a "flat" turn.
But for those that believe its dangerousjust because "DON'T DO IT!" Me, I'm liking it so far and will continue to push the edges in the corners as far as I can.

Agreed, it's obvious many here never sat on the corners when they were kids and watched cars come flying around them. It is amazing how far to the "outside" that front tires often lean.
