Antenna Relocation bracket
Just bought a King Tour Pack setup with the detachable hardware for my SG and I had to buy an antenna relocation bracket. Did not put it on yet but it seems as though you will have to unscrew the antenna cable off the relocated bracket and back to the original antenna base whenever you take the tour pack off. Note: No place to screw the antenna on the relocated bracket with the Tour Pack off ???
Anyone else go thru this and is this the way it will be when I finally get this mounted ?

There's 2 parts you need the coupler that mounts to bracket
this allows cable from radio to screw on bottom and when pack on cable from that screws in top
Next is adapter when pack off this screws on coupler in place of pack cable and it has 6mm thread for antenna

I put a tour pak on my EGS in solo position and had bought the antenna relocation hardware before realizing I would have to go through this process of disconnecting the antenna that was already hooked up to attach the tour pak antenna. Since I'm running with a shorty antenna it did not interfere with putting the tour pak on. Just left it connected and didn't hook up the tour pak antenna. Too much of a hassle. Since I hardly ever use the radio it's not a big deal.

Those two parts should be in the relocation kit. I am in the process of putting a detachable kit on my 02 Ultra. I am actually using the the antenna bracket that comes stock on the Road Glide and Street Glide. It is the frame mount bracket that on the fender support. The CB frame mount bracket is a mirror of the radio bracket, and is very similar to the 09-10 Ultra detachable kit. In the next few days I plan on doing the work and taking pictures to post to show the process and parts.

Looking forward to those pix.
Have a 'project' on a friend's Ultra and this should take care of it.
Another post explains (with pix) on how to make up quick detach wires for the speakers, intercom and lights.
All timely information I can use.
