I was on ebay and found an auction for Chrome Levers with a picture of the package with a price tage of $139.95 and the HD label and part number. They were advertised as new in the box and un-opened. I won the bid and when I recieved them they were packaged in the chrome lever packaging but were the stock take offs from 2 years ago. I assume that since the date was 09 on the box. We went back and forth and she said they were given to her as chrome and she posts she does not know much about bikes. I gave her the benefit of dought and she was sending me a refund. They were polished to look like chrome and the package was carefully sealed. I then went back onto her site to see what else she was selling and found many harley items being sold as new in the box and were really more take offs. A/C, mirrors and black housings shown in a box. When I called her on these items she said when people tell her they are new, she is going to sell them as NIB. She did give me a refund but there are many people who might not know the difference. Purplemoon is her ebay name for what it's worth.

 

you should report her to ebay communities.

 

Sounds like someone is hiding their **** behind a woman and she is dumb enuff to play the game for him ... My wife would get tired of acting stupid in a short time In fact if i asked to do that she would prolly tell me to kiss her azz immediately

 

You should notify E-Bay of the situation, also, they will take care of it and maybe that will scare her a bit about calling something "new".

 

I searched for items by seller with the name "purplemoon" and got no result, neither active nor completed.
The only purplemoon I found has 2 feedbacks as a buyer from 1999 and 2000 as is no longer a registered user.
