Default Red Line Oil

Read so much about owners using red line in the tranny that I wanted to give it a try. Went surfing on red line site but gees, there are so many kinds, "gear oil with shockproof, ultry light, light, heavy, red line 90W gear oil, 75W-90 high performance etc..etc.. Just which one is the right one?????

Shockproof heavy or the motorcycle specific gear oil, they're both the same, just different packaging.

I use it and will never go back to anything else. Red Line now sells a specific Tranny oil for HDs called V-Twin Transmission oil with Shockproof.

My transmission has never shifted smoother with it. I'm a believer.

Someone posted a link where they came to Jay Leno's garage and explained their products. Top quality stuff and many Harley dealers are now carrying it.

I just switched over to it in my new bike. With the stock oil, neutral was nearly impossible to find and there was a whine in first gear with the clutch pulled. That is all gone now.

I used Redline Shockproof in my 07 for 3 years and I'm a believer.

I order mine here: http://www.racerpartswholesale.com/c...y/Red_Line_Oil

Prices are good and shipping is supper fast.

I also buy the motor oil in gallons to save a few bucks.
